After getting the alien ore and collecting a lot of it Sparks tells you to get on with turning that into ingots. And usually when she tells you something it means you better start on it now. But all of the ore was needed to enter a location, to get the Miner MKII, and get more ore to move on with the game. Since I used all my ore to make ingots I had no way to do any of that!!! Sparks betrayed me.
Can't you just make more explosives and get more Atlantum ore? There are many more Atlantum Ore Deposits all over the map.
