okay started a new game and as soon as i get to the end it fractures again
This looks like the save bug corruption, and it seems to happen when you close the game while it's still saving (which can take a bit of time once you get far enough into the game).
Can you try loading a previous auto save to see if you have a save that doesn't experience this issue?
@cityfires i have done that several times look at other posts
